The government’s union budget for this year will give a considerable boost to startups in India. The budget presented many incentives which aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and startups. One such step was to provide relief from Angel tax. Startups and their investors who provide requisite declaration will not be subject to scrutiny under angel tax on share valuations. To help rural startups in India, the government has declared to launch a new program on DD channel. Regarding the Union Budget 2019, NDTV host Maya Sharma talked to young startups including shoppre.com co-founder Nikkitha Shanker, at the NSRCEL incubation centre, Bangalore. ShoppRe.com hails the budget and welcomes it with open arms.
